Open Call: Female Artists for International Women’s Day 2026

Are you a female artist or photographer — or do you work with women artists?

For International Women’s Day 2026, Der Divan – Das Arabische Kulturhaus invites female artists and photographers to participate in #GiveToGain, a collective digital exhibition dedicated to gender equality.

International Women’s Day calls on us to imagine a gender-equal world — a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination; a world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive; and a world where difference is valued and celebrated. #GiveToGain invites artists to translate this vision into visual form and to contribute their own perspective to a shared international statement.

For the fourth consecutive year, Der Divan offers a platform for women’s voices, artistic expression, and solidarity across borders. Selected works will be presented as a digital exhibition at Der Divan – Das Arabische Kulturhaus and shared through our online and social media channels, reaching a broad international audience.

Who can participate?

Female artists and photographers from all backgrounds are welcome, including emerging and established artists. All artistic approaches and styles are encouraged.

How to participate? 

Please submit:

– One artwork (image file: .jpeg, .png, or .gif; high resolution required)

– A short CV or artist biography
